OBJECTIVES AND KEY RESULTS

Director of Operations - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership team to implement company OKRs to 120 team members resulting in 45% of team objectives met and 30% of company objectives achieved for initial quarterly implementation.

  • Executive Collaboration - Collaboration and coaching with Executive team to define and solve for future vision, strategic plan, operating mechanisms, talent structure and leadership cohesion 

  • Training and Education - Provided internal training and education to organizational teams including OKR history, use cases, cases studies, roles and responsibilities, artifacts and tools, processes, cadence, goals, terms and definitions

  • Goals and Metrics - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership team to identify goals and baseline metrics to measure implementation success

  • Coaching - Worked with teams to define individual and team objectives with respect to company OKRs   

  • Updates - Recurring updates to stakeholders to include rollout status and milestones

  • Reporting - Ongoing analysis and reporting of implementation success including summary metrics, opportunities for improvement and maturity

SCRUM IMPLEMENTATION

Director of Operations - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership team to implement Scrum to 65 engineering and product team members resulting in a 65% lift in portfolio delivery, a 35% reduction in technical debt, qualitative results including better backlog prioritization, greater visibility into impediments and improved cross functional coordination.

  • Training and Education - Provided internal training to product, engineering and Executive teams including scrum team roles and responsibilities, artifacts, ceremonies, cadence, goals of scrum, terms and definitions

  • Goals and Metrics - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership team to identify goals and baseline metrics to measure implementation success 

  • Tools and Administration - JIRA administration to support Scrum rollout to include creation of teams, workflows, permissions, templates and reports   

  • Updates - Recurring updates to stakeholders to include rollout status and milestones 

  • Certification - Coordination to have 15% of engineering and product staff trained as Certified Scrum Masters
    (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owners (CSPO)

  • Coaching - Consulting with product and engineering teams to provide coaching on team velocity, scrum ceremonies, best practices and maturity

  • Change Management - Analysis and reporting of implementation success including opportunities for improvement and maturity

PMO CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

Director of PMO - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership team to implement Program Management Office - Center of Excellence, resulting in 25% more projects completed successfully and 38% fewer projects with scope creep achieved for initial quarterly implementation.

  • Analysis and Planning -  Assessment of the state of project management within the organization to include project portfolio, desired future state and gap analysis 

  • Alignment - Collaborate with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership team to provide education on PMOs structure, alignment on organizational strategy and next steps based on planning and analysis

  • Goals and Metrics - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and Transformation Leadership to align on goals and success metrics 

  • Tools and Dashboards - Administration of Confluence (Atlassian) to support PMO rollout to include creation of workflows, a template library and reporting dashboards

  • Template Library - Develop a library of templates to include business case, project scope, non/functional requirements, work breakdown structure, sprint velocity calculator and user story templates

  • PMO Documents - Development of PMO operating model to include project charter, policies and processes 

  • Processes - Worked with stakeholders to develop clear and comprehensive processes related to project initiation and due diligence to aide planning and risk management

  • Project Management - Manage projects proposed by multiple business units in order to establish prioritization and project requirements with respect to company objectives 

  • Reporting - Recurring updates to Executive team on all projects to include project status, risks, action items and issues that require Executive direction

  • Program Oversight - Oversight and governance to ensure programs and projects meet the goals and the objectives of the organization and the PMO

  • Evangelist - Evangelist for PMO vision and direction, including strategic planning, delivery and process development

  • Mentorship - Coaching and mentorship to associate project managers

CERTIFICATION AND COMPLIANCE

Operation Management - Worked with Executive Steering Committee and third party IT Risk Management Specialist to obtain HIPAA certification for healthcare privacy application.

  • Project ManagementCollaborate with product, engineering and risk management specialist team to determine project schedule and milestones

  • Scope - Lead a cross functional team of product and engineering team members to determine scope, non-functional compliance requirements   

  • Risk Mitigation - Monitor project status, risks and escalate as necessary

  • Project Updates -Recuriring status updates to Executive Leadership, internal and external stakeholders, risk mitigation and cross-functional coordination 

  • Account Management - Communications, reporting, relationship building and collaboration with risk management specialist team and CISO
